May 1-3, 2026 Season Kickoff Campout
Come join us for our season kickoff campout – shake off those winter blues with Highline Bike Shop on the Big Bear Lake Trail Center trails! The campout will take place May 1-3 in Bruceton Mills, WV, at the Mountain Top Venue. Arrive anytime after 1:00pm on Friday and stay through Sunday (5:00pm). Let’s kickoff the 2026 season right!

July 17-19, 2026 Bike Bash WV
What do rigid single speeders, enduro bros, and XC racers have in common? We all, love to pedal bikes in the woods. Join us for another weekend at the Big Bear Lake Trail Center and celebrate mountain biking in West Virginia! This is a bike festival event – arrive early and camp from Thursday through Sunday.

Aug 7-8, 2026 Ragnar Trail Appalachians
Escape the daily grind and head toward adventure at Ragnar Trail Appalachians on August 7-8. Teams of 8 come together for an overnight relay with trails fit for any level of runner at Big Bear Lake, a truly magical location that will have you asking “Did we just travel back in time?” Get this running party started early on Thursday to make this a whole 3-day weekend of friends and festivities.
Big Bear Lake Trail Center is excited to welcome the WVICL to race amongst the ferns at Big Bear Lake. The trail is a mix of fast open trail, twisty singletrack and just enough technical features to keep riders on their toes.
It’s time for the 2026 Big Bear Rider Appreciation Party (BBRAP)!
This will be a FREE (no trail fees) event that will be staged out of the Trailhead Parking Area (near the entrance, not the airstrip). We’ll meet at 10am and do a group(s) ride (or you can do your own thing) then we’ll meet back in the parking lot around 1 or 2pm for a pot luck picnic.
