April 28-30, 2023 Season Kickoff Campout

Come join us for our season kickoff campout – shake off those winter blues with Trailflo Bikes on the Big Bear Lake Trail Center trails! The campout will take place April 28-30 in Bruceton Mills, WV, in the Beaver Creek Village camping area. Arrive anytime after Noon on Friday and stay through Sunday (5:00pm). There are tent sites, and RV/pop-up/van sites. Let’s kickoff the 2023 season right!

July 14-16, 2023 Bike Bash WV

What do rigid single speeders, enduro bros, and XC racers have in common? We all, love to pedal bikes in the woods. Join us for another weekend at the Big Bear Lake Trail Center and celebrate mountain biking in West Virginia! This is a bike festival event – arrive early and camp from Thursday through Sunday.

Aug 11-12, 2023 Ragnar Trail Appalachians

Escape the daily grind and head toward adventure at Ragnar Trail Appalachians on August 11-12. Teams of 8 come together for an overnight relay with trails fit for any level of runner at Big Bear Lake, a truly magical location that will have you asking “Did we just travel back in time?” Get this running party started early on Thursday to make this a whole 3-day weekend of friends and festivities.

Sept 9-10, 2023 Battle at Big Bear WVICL NICA Race

Big Bear Lake Trail Center is excited to welcome the WVICL to race amongst the ferns at Big Bear Lake. The trail is a mix of fast open trail, twisty singletrack and just enough technical features to keep riders on their toes.

October 29, 2023 BBRAP – Big Bear Rider Appreciation Picnic!

It’s time for the 2023 Big Bear Rider Appreciation Party (BBRAP) – Halloween Edition!.

This will be a FREE (no trail fees) event that will be staged out of the Trailhead Parking Area (near the entrance, not the airstrip). We’ll meet at 10am and do a group(s) ride (or you can do your own thing) then we’ll meet back in the parking lot around 2 or 3pm for a pot luck picnic.
